Electronic medical records top priority for US
The annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMMS) leadership poll showed that US healthcare IT executives are considering EMR their top priority. They are also planning to offer online access for patients to their medical records, patient scheduling capabilities, health assessment tools and general consumer health information in the future.
