Internet Helping in the Fight Against Cancer

In 2006 approximately 1.4 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer and 565,000 will die of the disease. Cancer death rates have been dropping in the U.S. since 2003. Is there a correlation between the net decrease of total cancer deaths and the increase in online health sites providing information on early detection and/or prevention?
